We are excited to be planning for an IN-PERSON Camp Jenny experience in 2022. That being said, we expect things won’t be exactly how they were in 2019… All of the info below is subject to change.

Will campers sleep at camp?
While we are excited to have an in-person event, due to the pandemic and the ever-changing situation, at this time, we do not believe that campers will be sleeping at camp. We are planning to instead provide them with 2 full days of programming, but they will sleep in their own homes.

Where will CJ22 take place?
Campers will be given 2 full days of Camp Jenny experiences.  Saturday will take place at URJ Camp Coleman and Sunday will be held at a location in Atlanta where we can provide a full day of camp for our campers.

Where will teen and adult volunteers sleep?
All Camp Jenny volunteers will spend all nights except Sunday at URJ Camp Coleman.  Sunday night will most likely be spent at a hotel in Atlanta.

Will volunteers need to be vaccinated?
Yes, we expect that all Camp Jenny teen and adult volunteers will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If you have questions or concerns about vaccinations, please reach out to campjenny@urj.org.

What other COVID-19 protocols will be in place?
We know that the best practices surrounding COVID-19 are continually changing.  We will continue to evaluate our policies and practices as the situation evolves. Our protocols and guidelines will always be subject to change based on the latest guidelines from health experts, state and local protocols, and other health authorities. We expect our protocols to include both testing and masking requirements.
